We are currently looking to add experienced Behavior Specialists to our team in the Santa Clarita and San Fernando Valley area.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Must have a Bachelor of Arts or Sciences in Psychology or other related fields.
- Must be enrolled, or plan to enroll, in MA ABA program and actively working toward certification in behavior analysis.
- Must legally be authorized to work in the United States
- Possess a California driver’s license and have proof of automobile insurance.
- Must provide verification of negative TB test.
- Department of Justice/Fingerprint clearance
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
Job Description
- Provide services under the supervision of a BCBA in accordance with BACB Guidelines
- Develop behavior support plans and client goals under the supervision of a BCBA.
- Work with adult’s consumers in various settings such as individual homes, group homes, day programs
- Conduct assessments
- Collect and analyze data.
- Interface with and train direct and supervisory staff from other agencies
- Monitor program implementation, including graphing data, conducting treatment integrity checks and quality assurance checks.
Collaborate with other professionals (e.g., psychiatrist, therapist, physician, etc.) to achieve client-specific goals and objectives. - Participate in job-related training and team meetings.
- Maintain client schedule (schedule sessions and notify about cancellations)
- Notify Clinical Director or Executive Director of all potential for suspicion of abuse and neglect, client AWOL, injuries to staff or clients that require greater than first aid treatment and potential ethical concerns.
- Performs other duties as assigned reasonably within the scope of a Behavior Specialist
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25–50 pounds (ex: therapy materials, assisting clients as needed etc.)
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, or kneel frequently throughout the workday to engage with clients at their level.
- Visual and auditory ability to observe client behavior, monitor safety, and respond promptly to needs.
- Mobility to work in a clinical environment, including navigating between rooms and supporting clients in structured activities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and maintain energy and focus during extended interaction with clients – be able to remain physically active/engaged for the duration of therapy sessions

Compensation:
(B.A) $25/hour – $27/hour
(M.A.) $29/hour-$32/hour

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
